Synopsis:
A fearless prince saves a beautiful princess from peril in this action-packed, animated adventure based on Mozart's classic opera.
Dashing prince Tamino begins the adventure of a lifetime when he promises the Queen of the Night to rescue her kidnapped daughter, Princess Pamina, from King Sarastro. The Queen gives him a magic flute and her comical birdman, Papageno, to help him on his dangerous journey.
Once inside the King's palace, Tamino sees the beautiful Princess and instantly falls in love with her. But their escape is defeated by the King, who reveals that he is Pamina's real father. The Queen has only been disguising herself as her mother to steal the magic powers Pamina will inherit on her approaching eighteenth birthday.
The King sends Tamino on a mission to prove himself worthy of Pamina's hand in marriage. While he's away, the betrayal continious. One of the King's men double-crosses him and returns Pamina to the Queen only hours before she turns eighteen. In a desparate race against time, Tamino must save Pamina from the evil Queen before she loses her powers forever!
