Life as we know it will cease if no one comes at the right time and deposits a coin. The meter just might run out.
Synopsis: Traveling to Earth from the distant future, a "planetary investigator", Travis Beck comes to deposit a specific coin in a very specific parking meter. If he succeeds, the Earth will be spared annihilation. But speculation has it that he was given the job because too many times he has screwed up, and of course there is that little scandal he was involved in a few years back.
Enter his old partner Bill Thermot. Bill is here to help, encourage, and remind Travis NOT to get involved with the earth-people. With time running out, Travis finds a high powered weapon aimed directly at that meter from across the street and there is only one other that he can truly trust. But who is this person, and what will happen to the earth if he doesn't get that coin in the slot in time?? If only his watch would stop beeping when he's with June!!
I have to admit I was a bit frustrated with Bill Thermot in this! He kept showing up and interfering, and he was so suspicious a character, I couldn't figure out how Travis had worked with him for so long! Ha! Just shows how good a character actor Mark is!
