Time Runner

Capt. Michael Raynor commands the United America Space Station
"Friendship." To begin with, his ship is being fired upon, as is Washington, D.C. in
October 2022. Raynor is the only survivor so he escapes in a pod and into a
type of black hole called a "worm hole" that sends him back in time to 1992.
He awakens to find himself in a strange world on a farm. As he explores
the farmhouse, something about the calendar stuns him and it probably wasn't
the photo on the calendar, a sexy-siren almost wearing something black. But
then the headaches start, and as will happen several times throughout the film,
the headache signals a vision: an older lady serving a meal in a diner,
senselessly shot to death; scientists removing the flight recorder from the
pod and 5 seconds later, an explosion; a pregnant woman packing to go to the
hospital, suddenly shot by an in truder.
Michael teams up with Karen Donaldson, special projects,
astrophysics--played by Rae Dawn Chong, daughter of Cheech and Chong fame--to try to sort
out these visions as well as his mission. He quickly realizes that soon after
the visions, he is present just before the occurrence of what he has seen,
and his presence gives him the opportunity to change things that make what
*was* his vision turn out differently.
The movie jumps back and forth between 1992 and what Michael is doing;
and 2022 where the attack on the Missile Tracking Station in Washington, D.C.
is escalating. The question is who are the aliens and who are the humans
and how do you tell the difference? Capt. Raynor answered that, "If they
shoot at you, they're probably aliens."
Alternately known as In Exile, Time Runner was filmed in Kelowna,
Summerland, and Vancouver, BC, Canada. What that means is you'll see some great
scenery!!
While Mark's character, Michael is sorting out the good guys from the
bad, the future from the past, you'll find out what the waitress, the flight
recorder information, and the pregnant woman all have to do with Michael in
2022. Be ready for some interesting twists!!
