Synopsis: As the title suggests, the Empire does indeed strike back. Luke travels to Dagobah to continue his training with a new Jedi Master, Yoda. While attempting to rescue his friends, Leia and Han, on the cloud city of Bespin, he faces Darth Vader who tells him, in the climactic moment of the film, that he is Luke’s father. Second Movie in the Star Wars Trilogy. a.k.a Part V Considered the darkest part of the trilogy, it was also the longest to make, filming over 175 days, from March 5, 1979 to September 24, 1979. Filmed at EMI-Elstree Studios in Borehamwood England and on the Hardangerjokulen Glacier in Finse, Norway...during the coldest March on record. Mark did all his own stunt work with one exception, the scene when Luke is literally sucked out of a window on Cloud City while dueling Darth Vader, for insurance purposes a stunt double was used.
